The ReSound’65 is our Generation 2 release of the legendary 1965 push-pull pedal steel guitar. The acoustic, mechanical, and proportional properties of this instrument have been meticulously crafted to the same specifications of the "Emmons Original" 1965 wraparound guitar. This instrument delivers the same legendary tone, sustain, and playing experience of its predecessor, and continues the Emmons dynamic sound that made the brand renowned!
The highly esteemed Emmons brand and icon that earned its place at the top of steel guitar manufacturers is under new ownership. Darin Shiflett and Kelcey O’Neil and have partnered to establish a reliable, relevant, and robust company built upon customer service, manufacturing excellence, and operational integrity.
Our intention is to honor the enduring legacy of Buddy Emmons, and we are committed to continuing the original concept of producing premium instruments that are designed, engineered, and built for players.
We appreciate your interest in the world's best sounding pedal steel guitars. We are currently offering D10, SD10, and S10 models, with several colors to choose from including Black, Red, and Walnut Formica®, as well as custom lacquer finishes.
