My Father recently passed away and I inherited his guitars. One of them is this Emmons split tail push/pull. Im wanting to find out when it was manufactured or any other useful information that can be used for an appraisal. It has some cosmetic flaws but mechanics and pickups and switches all work. The case is a little banged up, but completely functional. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Judging by the features, it is roughly a 1978 model. I love the blue! The serial number list that is often shared is rather inaccurate, especially for the early models, but post 1970 there isn't a huge affect on the value. We'd love to give it a tune up!
My own 8x6 D-10 (black) is like this one serial #6695. Great tone, but she is wearing out mechanically.

Look at the serial # located near the changer end of the guitar. If the serial number starts with 66xx it was most likely made in the early 1980's. These were in a group of the final PP's made before Lashley went to the all-pull guitars. The thinner pedals on the guitar are also indicative of that particular era.
